CAN MAN CREATE HIS OWN DESTINY? (Part 3)Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, That you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Psalm 1:2-3 “But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law does he meditate day and night. He shall be a tree planted by the living water, that brings forth his fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” 3 John 2 “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” The Bible is full of scriptures and verses like these. Scriptures and versus that are exhilarating and challenging to communicate and have time with God, the one Who created you. It is God’s desire to have extreme fellowship and an intimate relationship with His creation as we read in Isaiah 55:6-11. One should read this encouraging chapter 55 in its entirety. Along with this verse we can reference Deuteronomy 29:29 and John 14:12. Through the whole Bible we are challenged, encouraged and up lifted to be successful in life, to take authority and dominion over and in our lives, as God has commanded humanity in the Book of Genesis.
Where have we been deceived that we are less than who we are? Or that we are incapable of doing that which should come so easily? God has throughout the Bible stated that we are made in His image and likeness, and to imitate Him as we imitate Christ. The Word of God reads that Jesus fulfilled the Law in one word, ‘LOVE’. Since Jesus and the Father are One, it is not hard to figure out, that we can walk out the commandments, the law, the precepts, the principle’s that are written down for us to accomplish any and all situations. Whether a challenge, trial or persecution. We can and will overcome victoriously by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. Why? Because it is God’s Word planted in us and manifesting God’s commandments, or laws, or principles out of us into the natural realm, is not burdensome or grievous. Read 1 John 5:1-5. Some people have a concept of the word ’law’, or ‘commandment’, or even the ‘Ten Commandments’; was never intended to put any one person into any form of bondage, or legalism; but at most, to set one free from bondage and legalism. God’s intent is for everyone to be drawn closer to Him, not away from Him. A creator creates that which he desires to have; a complete, to the full, intimate relationship with His creation. Any other concept would be against the law of “Inventor to his Invention’; as in any law of Einstein’s, or Newton's law of gravity. Would a concept of God be any different than our concept of natural man? Does man think God is so different now, then when He created man in the beginning? Did not God’s desire for man and the humanity of man (man, woman and offspring) to live a life to the fullest (till they were satisfied), with God at their side and operating in them and through him, or her? We must not be led to misunderstand God’s purpose for intimacy and relationship. The word law or laws, precepts, principles or even the word commands that are written down for us in the Bible, is to show us God’s personality; of His attributes, character, nature; of His protection and provision for us. We must not confuse or reduce the intent of these words in any way, to a formula, which would reduce our relationship to a loving Father. We are free moral agents to do anything we want to do. Therefore, God will not force Himself on us or unto His creation, because, He is an ALL loving God. At the same time, God’s heart desire is for His children to be the best they can be. The desire of God’s heart is to see us accomplish the desire of our hearts, because it is God who placed that desire in us. There will always be a quest to fulfill a desire, a dream, a destiny within us. God’s desire is to be with us and included in everything we do, that our lives would be satisfied, complete, to the fullest. God has placed His abilities in the Bible that we would study them, meditate on them day and night, all the time, that they be a manifestation of Him in our lives. God wants to be included in our happiness, to be involved in our adventures, experiences; or even in those events that leads to success. We can include God into every aspect of our life as we meditate in the Bible, which is His desire for us. As we meditate in God’s word and promises, day and night, we will find God’s desire for us is to succeed and not fail. All His promises and His intentions are for our good. We will find such sweet peace and rest in meditating on His law, which is His personality written down for us to enjoy, as we fellowship with one another. We will receive a satisfaction of such joy unspeakable knowing that all things are possible with God, our Father. If you do not have a sense of freedom or even joy to take challenges, repeat after me: “HELP! I need fulfillment in my life. I’m empty inside. God, forgive me of doing things my way. Show me your way. Jesus, come into my heart. Jesus, I receive you into my heart. Fill me with joy unspeakable. FILL ME UP TO OVER FLOWING! Thank you, I AM Yours.” If you said this prayer and meant what you said, God has done His part. Welcome into the Family of God! By Rev. LaVern Burdick Comments are closed.
